English 10

Congratulations Sophomores! You have tackled the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE)! The results will not be available until late April/ early May, but I'm sure you did well. We will continue with Friday FUNdamentals because you still have to take the STAR tests at the end of April/ beginning of May.

The rest of the semester we will be focusing on research methods and research-based esssay writing. We have two cross-curricular essays:  the first one is with the Social Science Department, and the second one is with the Science Department. You are so fortunate to have a school so dedicated to academic-based essay writing!

Parents, check your student's agenda on a daily basis for the most current assignments and due dates--this is more accurate than PAMS!
