Welcome to the 2011-12 School Year!
I am so glad to be back and working with this year's Sophomores and the Juniors in my AP course.
This is a big year for high-stakes testing. The California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) is in February, the STAR test is in April, and the Advanced Placement (AP) exam is in May.
Please follow the links on the right for the appropriate course.
Attention Students and Parents:
Students are responsible for their recording daily assignments and due dates on a calendar or piece of paper they keep in their binder. The lesson plans posted online are tentative and subject to change based on class needs and schedule changes. This spring semester is filled with interruptors, thus making it necessary for students to come to class daily and write down what and when something is due. If a student is present, he or she is responsible for the work assigned that day and the homework assigned when present. I give students time each and every day to write down the agenda and due dates. If a student does not come home with something written down for the day's agenda and homework assignment, he or she is still responsible for the work. Please check your child's handwritten agenda or email me if something is unclear.
