Biology -
Biology is the ‘study of life’, which involves everything about us and the world around us. We will be using the text “Biology” from Prentice Hall that follows the CA Science Standards and gives us a good foundation to explore living organisms and life processes.
We will study the following topics: Cell Biology, DNA, RNA, Protein Synthesis, Inherited Traits, Genetics, Cloning, Bio-ethics, Evolution, Darwin and Natural Selection, Ecology and Man’s interaction with the environment, Body Systems, Anatomy and Physiology including dissections.
