Attention Freshmen Req. Parents/Students:  Please keep PowerPoint notes, Graphic Organzers and Vocabulary Organized.  Each student should have a specific tab, binder or folder for World Geography.

Teacher Notes:

Students are encouraged to review all class work and complete applicable homework on a daily basis.

Students are encouraged to utilize the tutorial on Wednesday and Thursday.

Please bring appropriate materials to class each day.

Important Dates to Remember:

5/2 – After School Tutorial 3pm to 5pm.  5/9 – Last day to turn in late work from after school tutorial.  5/14-Last day to turn in late work from after school tutorial if authorized extended time.  5/14-Last day to turn in work for Ch. 25,26,27,28,29 & 30.  5/21- Last day to turn in work for Ch. 25,26,27,28,29 & 30 if authorized extended time.  5/15-Presentations Due.   5/22-Last day for students authorized extended time for presentations due during tutorial.  5/22-Essay are due. 5/29-Last day for students authorized extended time for essays due during tutorial.

Important Grading Information: There will be 1000 total points at the end of the semester; 900-1000+= A, 800-899=B, 700-799=C, 600-699=D, 0-599=F. GRADES WILL NOT BE ROUNDED UP OR DOWN!

Major Remaining Assignments: Asian Presentations will be worth 50 points, Asian Essays will be worth 50 points, Final will be worth 100 points

Attention Absent Students: As an alternate, you may read and complete an outline of the chapter and complete the Building Vocabulary and Understanding Main Idea Questions for the chapter you missed on the corresponding day.(This will only be accepted from Students who were absent.)
