RIGHT ANGLES are exactly 90 degrees. They make a "square corner."

STRAIGHT ANGLES are exactly 180 degrees. They make a "straight line." 

ACUTE ANGLES are less than 90 degrees. They are "little skinnies."

OBTUSE ANGLES are greater than 90 degrees. They are "big fatties."

PEACH BLOSSOM               Our class participated in the Peach Blossom Festival at Fresno State. Our poem, "Hello Bonjour," written by Michael Franti, is about tolerance. Being nice to people regardless of their religion or ethnic background shows good character. The students dressed up in costumes to represent cultures from around the world. The presentation received the highest rating of superior. Click HERE to see the video.

CITIZENSHIP-A Pillar of Character.  I taught at Webster when it was a K-8 school. THe big project for the 8th graders was to memorize the Preamble to the United States Constitution. Meanwhile, my 5th graders learned it as an alternative for the Pledge of Allegiance. Click here to see who else thinks they remembered it.
