A few reminders:
- I am no longer checking reading logs and planners daily. This is to encourage responsibility. Most students are already doing doing great with this and are showing readiness for 7th grade!
- For Fun Friday, students are allowed to participate as long as homework is completed. They are allowed to miss 1 assignment. On the 2nd miss, they are not allowed to participate in FUN FRIDAY activities.
- Please make sure your child is reading at least 45 minutes nightly, and their reading log is signed.
- Planners need to be signed daily after the work is checked. This is a great way for us to communicate too! :)
* I found this interesting article about sixth graders and becoming independent. Education.com is a great website with lots of information!
