Reading

We are reading a novel, MY SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN. Every day we are working on vocabulary and a timeline from the chapter of the day. After the third chapter, we are writing a summary of the previous three chapters as well and depicting the most important event of the three chapters. Each activity is graded.

MATH

We are working on a real-life project called Personal Finance. This project includes writing checks, using credit cards, finding a job, saving money, etc. Students are working in cooperative groups as a single Identity. Students earn and lose "money" for their work.

SCIENCE

We are working on various labs and keeping up our journals. Each assignment is graded.
